| The University of Massachusetts Amherst is a small, energetic school of public health and health sciences, located in a stimulating academic environment in one of the loveliest spots in the nation. It is the only state-funded school of public health in New England, and prides itself on outreach to many regional constituents. We offer the Master of Science, Master of Public Health, and PhD degrees. We have keen students, a talented faculty, and a student-faculty ratio that gives students ready access to their instructors. The clustering of five colleges within a twelve-mile radius makes student life in Amherst rich-lectures, music, theater, and film are in abundance. A rural landscape and nearby lakes and mountains create wonderful outdoor recreational opportunities. The urban advantages of Boston and Albany, NY, are only two hours away. Hartford, CT, is a one-hour drive. |
