The Ohio State University College of Public Health exists for the improvement of the health of the public through the creation, dissemination, and application of knowledge. It prepares students for the challenges of leadership and service in public health and related professions, adds to knowledge through basic and applied research, and serves in the tradition of land-grant universities. The College benefits from being part of one of the most comprehensive health science centers in the nation. In addition, the College is on the same campus as Ohio State's major liberal arts and professional programs, so that it enjoys the advantages of close proximity to faculty and students in an exceptional breadth of academic disciplines. |
