| The School of Public Health is dedicated to the prevention of disease and the promotion of health in the local and global community through education, research and services. The School of Public Health achieves its mission by: preparing its graduates to effectively contribute to the practice of public health; providing accessible educational programs; valuing the importance of diversity in public health practice and research; supporting closer integration between the practice of medicine and public health; and developing academic and community partnerships. The School of Public Health currently offers the MHA, MPH, DrPH and dual degree options. The School was accredited by CEPH in June 2007 and was ranked #19 in Community Health by US News and World Report in its 2002 graduate rankings. |
