| The College of Public Health and Health Professions is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2008 with a renewed commitment to reducing the burden of chronic illness and disabilities in the United States and to addressing global concerns regarding new and re-emerging biological threats to human health. The College has launched a model of instruction, practice, and research that promotes collaboration among public health and health professions disciplines within the College and throughout the University of Florida. Our collaborative environment encourages interdisciplinary educational experiences, multidisciplinary practice opportunities, and the creative interface that leads to cutting-edge research. |
