In an effort to train the future public health workforce, we are proud to provide students and graduates of ASPH member schools with fellowship practice experiences globally, nationally and locally.

ASPH fellowships, established in 1994, provide recent graduates from ASPH-member, CEPH-accredited, graduate schools of public health with training experiences based at federal agencies, state/local health departments, and on Capitol Hill. The duration of the fellowships ranges from 12-24 months depending on the program.

ASPH Internships, established in 1983, provide current students from ASPH-member, CEPH-accredited, graduate schools of public health with opportunities to apply public health knowledge gained in the classroom to real public health situations, thereby enhancing their education and understanding in the field of public health and contributing to the development of their academic goals. Internships last for a duration of 10 weeks during the summer.
ASPH/CDC Environmental Health Scholarship Program
ASPH/CDC Environmental Health Scholarships provide funds to doctoral-level students from ASPH-member graduate schools of public health, as well as accredited planning programs, with the opportunity to pursue their studies while receiving guidance and input from CDC experts in the relationship between public health and community design.
