DrPH Competency Development Project Request for Workgroup Volunteers

Dean Jim Raczynski (Arkansas), chair of the DrPH Competency Development project, has led an inclusive process to identify seven preliminary core competencies. Before preliminary core competencies were identified, Dean Raczynski led a Consensus Conference in November 2007, a Task Force meeting in February 2008 and an Advisory Panel in April 2008. In the coming months, work groups will define each of the seven preliminary core competencies for this project. If you are interested in volunteering for one of the workgroups, please E-mail John McElligott at jmcelligott@asph.org and include which core competency you would like to help define. More information about the DrPH project can be found here.
