Health reform is moving forward in Washington! The President has asked for a House and Senate passage of measures by July 31st, and Congress has held several hearings over the last few weeks to collect input from the health community about different proposals that are currently being considered. During the July 4th recess, members are back in their districts and many are taking this time to talk to their constituents about health reform.
During this period, ASPH continues to advocate for importance of continued investment in public health and primary prevention, building the public health workforce, and public health research. We have compiled a list of relevant resources that we hope you will find useful in contributing to ongoing discussions in your state/district. Please click here to view these resources.
